Presbyopia Treatment in Austin

Are you over 40? Struggle to read fine print?

What is Presbyopia?

Presbyopia is an age-related vision condition that causes near objects to appear blurry. It typically starts in a person’s 40’s, when the lens of the eye begins to stiffen and lose flexibility. This makes it difficult to focus on nearby objects.

Presbyopia can significantly impact your quality of life. Regular daily activities like reading books, instruction manuals and food labels, scrolling through your phone, threading a needle and other close-up tasks can become daunting.

The good news is, with the help of AEG Vision, this common vision condition can be effectively managed, so you won’t have to compromise on your quality of life.

I had a fantastic experience at EyeTech on Slaughter Lane. Dr. Luc Waked took the time to explain ev... erything thoroughly, making sure I understood all of my options so I could make the best decisions for both my eye health and my budget. He patiently answered every question I had and made me feel informed and empowered throughout the entire appointment. Everyone else I interacted with—from the front desk staff, to the technician who performed my initial exam, to the team helping with glasses and prescriptions—was equally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. This was my first visit to the new EyeCare Specialties location, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I'm looking forward to being a loyal customer for years to come!
